The XE/XEM electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) is widely used in the field of industrial process control, such as metallurgy, papermaking, water supply and drainage, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, brewing, mining, heating and other industries. EMF can be used to measure the flowrate of liquids which have an electrical conductivity greater than 5 μS/cm (20 μS/cm for demineralized water) .
